London has to be the best cities in the UK when it comes to choosing a wedding venue. While traditional churches and luxurious hotels are popular choices, some couples seek something a bit more unique and unconventional to make their special day truly memorable. As a London wedding photographer since 2010, I’ve had the pleasure of photographing many of these, and in this blog post, I’ll share eight unusual wedding venues in London that promise to create an unforgettable experience for couples and their guests.

The Barbican Conservatory is a very special wedding venue, which has to be one of my favourites in London. Hidden within the brutalist architecture of the Barbican, the Barbican Conservatory is a tropical oasis that provides a unique and unforgettable setting for weddings. Without doubt the money shot is the backdrop of towering palms and exotic flora as you say your vows, but the entire setting is truly enchanting, which will no doubt leave a lasting impression on you and your guests. Tucked away in Bishopsgate Courtyard, the Victorian Bath House offers a strikingly atmospheric setting for couples seeking a wedding venue with rich character and a touch of theatrical flair. This Grade II-listed gem - originally built in 1817 - surprises guests with its ornate Moorish-Victorian interiors, complete with stained glass, patterned tiles, and jewel-toned lanterns.
