Half Art Deco design, half medieval royal palace, Eltham Palace is unlike any wedding venue I’ve shot at. I remember first walking into the Art Deco room where Piran and Nick’s wedding ceremony was being held and being completely wowed - I definitely wasn’t expecting 1930s design in a 14th Century Royal Palace! It completely subverted my expectations, and I think that’s a great way to open up the wedding day for the guests. However, The Great Hall was exactly what I was expecting…honestly, you could feel the history in that room, and really imagine the royal banquets that took place in there. So what better place to have your wedding breakfast! Plus, when you fancy having a bit of a time-out, there are amazing sunset views across the London skyline.
