If you’re planning your wedding at Tuddenham Mill and are looking for a creative and unobtrusive wedding photographer, you’ve come to the right place. Set alongside the tranquil River Gipping in Suffolk, Tuddenham Mill is a truly beautiful countryside venue that feels relaxed, intimate and full of character - the kind of place that makes your wedding day feel effortlessly special.
From its historic mill buildings and private gardens to the riverbank and the surrounding fields, Tuddenham Mill offers a variety of stunning natural backdrops that lend themselves perfectly to relaxed, authentic wedding photography.

Tuddenham Mill is a hidden gem tucked away in the Suffolk countryside, and centres around a charming old millhouse, private gardens, and lawn spaces that look out over the river - providing a peaceful, open‑air atmosphere that makes your wedding feel both elegant and natural.
What makes Tuddenham Mill so special is how well it works for weddings of all styles: an outdoor ceremony by the river, a relaxed garden drinks reception under the trees, or a barn dinner with plenty of character. It’s a venue that doesn’t feel forced or staged - it feels easy, warm and genuine, and that carries straight through into the photos.
For photography, Tuddenham Mill offers a wonderful range of locations in one space - riverside paths, open lawns, courtyard corners and naturally beautiful light - all perfect for capturing both the big moments and the small, quiet ones.

My approach to wedding photography is all about telling the true story of your day - capturing the honest moments as they unfold, without pulling you away from the experience itself. I focus on genuine emotion and natural interaction, letting your day breathe and documenting everything with warmth and care.
At Tuddenham Mill, this approach fits beautifully. Whether it’s the calm excitement of the morning, the laughter shared during your riverside ceremony, or the candid moments in the garden as the light softens towards evening, I’ll be there to capture it unobtrusively, creatively and with heart.

As it so happens, my partner’s family live about 10 minutes away from Tuddenham Mill, and all I ever heard about was how good the food was there and how I had to make a reservation. So you can imagine my excitement when I received an email from Lucy saying that they’d planned their wedding at Tuddenham Mill!
The great food was actually a big selling point for Lucy and Tom - not only because they’re both big foodies, but also due to Tom being a private chef! I can confirm the food was absolutely incredible, but I was also equally impressed by the venue itself. The old watermill has been brilliantly restored, and there are plenty of opportunities for photos both inside and around the grounds.
A little tip for couples planning a wedding here: around sunset time, head behind the Water Meadow room. It’s nice and private, and the light at that time of day creates some truly beautiful photos - perfect for a quiet moment with your partner or a few golden-hour portraits.

One of the best things about Tuddenham Mill is how much freedom it gives you to make your day exactly how you want it. You can choose an outdoor ceremony by the river, a relaxed garden drinks reception under the trees, and an evening in the barn with a long dinner followed by dancing. The space feels versatile and inviting - perfect for couples who want a wedding that’s personal, genuine and connected to nature.
You could wander the garden paths for portraits at sunset, enjoy champagne on the lawn with your guests, or cozy up by the mill buildings as the evening draws in. Whatever your vision, Tuddenham Mill provides the space and atmosphere to create a day that feels completely your own - and I’ll be there to capture it all, unposed and authentic.

If you’re looking for a Tuddenham Mill wedding photographer who values real, heartfelt moments over staged perfection and who will tell the story of your day with warmth, creativity and care, I’d love to hear from you. Every wedding I photograph is treated as its own story - and I’d be honoured to document yours.
My approach is all about capturing beautiful, unscripted moments as they naturally unfold. It’s something I’ve been passionate about since starting my wedding photography journey in 2010, and I still get a genuine buzz from creating images that feel artistic, honest, and full of emotion.
