As an official wedding photographer supplier at RSA House, I can completely see why it won the ‘Most Versatile London Venue’ award recently. This gorgeous Georgian town house, which has been the proud home of The RSA (The Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) since 1774, has so many amazing features and rooms that help to create a wonderful wedding journey throughout a couples wedding day.
From the moment you step into RSA House, you can’t help but notice the grand, sweeping staircase to the right, that takes you up to the most impressive room of this award winning London wedding venue - The Great Room. With its high ceilings, large space, and impressive 18th Century paintings that wrap around the whole room, it’s perfect for hosting both the wedding ceremony and the wedding breakfast. The other option would be the Benjamin Franklin room, an elegant and spacious room with a modern twist, which is also capable of holding the ceremony and the reception. The final string in RSA House’s impressive bow, is the subterranean Vaults, a series of four inter-connecting spaces, with 18th Century exposed brickwork as a rustic feature. This is the place where the party really gets going, with the huge bonus being that since it’s far below street level, you can party to the early hours, and make as much noise as you want!
