If you’re planning your wedding at Abbey Hall in Eye, Suffolk and are looking for a creative and unobtrusive Abbey Hall wedding photographer, then you’ve come to the right place! Abbey Hall Creative Space is a stunning outdoor wedding venue in the Suffolk countryside, and it’s an honour to be their recommended photographer.
What immediately hits you is the location - it’s simply beautiful. It feels very open, yet private at the same time. The centrepiece of Abbey Hall is of course its converted barn, but there’s one big difference compared to usual barn weddings….there’s so much light inside! Barn weddings can be quite dark, but Abbey Hall has this fantastic skylight on one side of the roof, which has allowed me to get shots that I wouldn’t have been able to before, for example the overhead shot of Megan and Seb during the wedding breakfast (see below!).
As well as there being accommodation inside the house, there’s also onsite glamping right beside the lake, which I personally think is an absolute winner. If that’s not enough, there’s also the scenic town of Eye right on the doorstep.
