This one was a lot of fun. Erin + Odhran (the ‘d’ is silent in case you were wondering!) were married at Sheen Falls Lodge, a 5* resort in County Kerry, Ireland, and what a day it was. Firstly, Erin and Odhran were honestly the loveliest couple to work with, with an equally wonderful circle around them. I couldn’t have been welcomed in any better! This added another dimension to the day, which had everything I needed to create a great wedding gallery: energy, emotion, humour, openness, an impromptu karaoke session during the wedding breakfast, and a beautiful setting to boot.
To top it all off Erin gave me the most amazing Google review, which, if I don’t paste here, might get lost over time, and it really was very special to receive, so here it is in full:
Where do I begin with Kristian?
There’s a reason this guy wins awards. The stars aligned for us when we found Kristian’s page after my photographer had to unfortunately cancel. I was very nervous about choosing a photographer as photography is very close to my heart. I honestly never expected to be so happy with our wedding photos. They are more than I could have ever imagined. From start to finish, Kristian was a gentleman. He flew over to Ireland to shoot our wedding and I am so so thankful. The talent OOZES out of this man and to me, he’s one of the best in the business. When our friends and family look at our photos, everyones saying “How did he capture that!?” “How on earth did he manage to get that exact moment” ” I didn’t even know he was there!”. The photos are just phenomenal and I can’t stop looking at them. He captures emotion, fun, mistakes, realness - he just captures everything as it is, which is so beautiful and raw. I never once felt uncomfortable when he was near with the camera. Looking at our photos we cry and we laugh and we feel like we are right there again, on the most special day of our lives, reliving it all.
