I have a couple summer garden weddings to share on the blog, but first up is Immie and Calum’s, which was held at Immie’s parents’ house out in the Oxfordshire countryside. I had the benefit of having one of my associates (who is an amazing photographer in his own right) second shooting with me on the day, and I always love seeing what he comes back with. I only ever use associates who shoot in the same style as me, to keep the gallery as consistent as possible, but it’s also great to have someone who is able to bring something fresh to the table as well. Brownie points if you’re able to distinguish who shot what (past the groom prep of course!!).
So onto the day, which was pretty much perfect - Immie looked absolutely incredible in her dress, as did Calum in his (sorry, bad kilt joke…); the weather was spot on; the church was a minute’s walk away at best, which led to a very cool bagpipe procession back to the garden; and everyone was greatly entertained by the one and only, Sensation Band. Oh yeah, and the ceilidh was suitably chaotic! Plus, on a personal note, it was great to work with MUA Hannah Kenney again for the third time in a year - our couples definitely have good taste :D
