The Barns at Lodge Farm WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Nestled in nestled in acres of farmland just outside London, The Barns at Lodge Farm has quickly become a personal favourite. I was there for Chloe and Ollie’s wedding recently, and the whole vibe of the place was perfect, as the wedding progressed through all the different spaces the venue has to offer.
The day started in The Old Workshop, where I met Chloe getting ready with her Bridesmaids. It’s a large, airy converted barn, that comes with it’s own kitchen, and is a 20 second walk to the ceremony room, so no getting stuck in traffic!
The ceremony took place in The Granary, a traditional wooden-beamed barn, built in 1870. This was the most rustic setting of the day, and was a beautiful space to get married in. There was ample room for all the guests (capacity 160), with seating available upstairs in the mezzanine as well.
The wedding then progressed to The Bar and The Yard, the latter of which hosted the most epic Ibiza style sunset DJ session I’ve ever had the pleasure in photographing (well, the only time I’ve had the pleasure in photographing!). I would’ve given anything to have put the cameras down and been a guest then…
Then, the pièce de la résistance - The Grain Store - a huge, industrial barn, that has capacity for up to 250 guests. It was a really impressive space, with a chill out area, a large bar, and an even larger stage for the multiple bands that Chloe and Ollie hired for the occasion.
Finally, we have The Field - a grassy meadow a short walk away from barns, that was perfect for a sunset couple shoot. I have heard it’s equally brilliant for couples that want a glamping/tipi/marquee space as well.
