If you’re planning your wedding at the stunning Walcot Hall and are looking for an artistic and unobtrusive Walcot Hall wedding photographer then you’ve come to the right place! Walcot Hall is considered one of the top Shropshire wedding venues, and is one I fell in love with the first time I visited.
WALCOT HALL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Firstly, the epic grounds. There’s just so much diversity at Walcot Hall…from getting married outside on the private lawn of the gardens near the Summer House, to having something indoors in the Main Hall, you’re totally spoilt for choice. I was there for Katy and Matt’s wedding, and we were fortunate enough to have a stunning, Summer’s day to work with, which meant it was an outdoor ceremony in the beautifully kept gardens. After the wedding ceremony, we stayed outdoors for the reception, enjoying some ping pong, cocktails and good times. We even managed to head out for some Bride and Groom photos, and at that point you’re really spoilt as there are tonnes of photo opportunities, with The Chapel being a particular favourite.
I think another reason for it’s popularity, is the sheer number of on-site accommodation options. Katy and Matt love a good festival, so of course there had to be an after-party by the lake! Unfortunately I didn’t stay that long, although I would’ve loved to have, but from what I heard it was pretty special waking up beside the lake as the sun rose in the morning. I’ve also heard great things about the Dipping Shed and the Gold Rush yurt, which are completely different and just shows off the amazing range of options Walcot Hall has to offer.
Have a look through the pictures below, and hopefully they’ll give you some inspiration for your own wedding at Walcot Hall.
