What makes ANRÁN truly special are its spaces: you could exchange vows by the glasshouse surrounded by tropical plants, under the oak meadow at sunset, or lakeside with reflections dancing on the water. The Old Dairy, the Hay Barn, and the Courtyard each bring their own character and atmosphere.

The flexibility here is fantastic - for photography it’s a dream. Whether it’s soft golden-hour light in the orchard or candid moments in the barn as the night unfolds, every corner offers something beautiful and real.

My Approach

My style is all about capturing the unscripted, the genuine, the moments you don’t see coming. Weddings are full of them - the laughter between speeches, the glance across a room, the dance that takes off once no one’s watching. That’s where the magic is.

I was at ANRÁN recently for Laura and Jon’s wedding, and it was one of those days that just sticks in your memory. From the quiet morning prep in the farmhouse to the heartfelt vows under the oak meadow, the day felt completely relaxed and joyful. One of my favourite moments was during the first dance as the sun broke through the trees, shining a beautiful light on the happy couple. Later, the evening reception in the Hut was full of music, dancing, and I didn’t want to leave - it was just such a warm, magical celebration.

Making ANRÁN Your Own

One of the best things about ANRÁN is that you can make it completely your own. Whether you’re imagining a boho-inspired weekend with all your friends, a garden ceremony followed by a barn reception, or simply an intimate affair by the pond - it works beautifully.

You might choose to say “I do” with the sun setting over the island at The Lake, then head for cocktails in The Courtyard, and finish the evening dancing in The Hut under a blanket of stars.
