Hawksmoor WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER, LONDON
I’ve shot at the Hawksmoor Guildhall a few times over the years, and it’s still to this day one of my favourite wedding venues for a number of reasons.
- It’s all self-contained, and manages to have space for the wedding ceremony, reception and wedding breakfast, with seamless movement between them all.
- Erm…the food! Without question the best steak I’ve ever eaten, but also the veggie and vegan options are highly regarded as well.
- There are tonnes of options for some couple photos in the area, particularly in front of Guildhall - if anything it’s just a lovely area to walk around and take a 10 minute time-out from all the action.
- Late licence!! Since the Hawksmoor is in a basement in the city, with no nearby neighbours to speak of, the party can go long into the night which is really unusual, not just for a city wedding, but any wedding in general!
- They really do look after you very well there, and have friendliest staff I’ve come across.
