If you’re planning your wedding at Claridges and are looking for a creative and unobtrusive Claridges wedding photographer, then you’ve come to the right place! Claridges is an iconic 5-star venue in Mayfair, London, and I’ve loved shooting there in the past.
CLARIDGES WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Listed as ‘The first hotel in London’ in Baedeker’s first edition, Claridges truly is a world-renowned venue. From the moment you step into it’s Art Deco foyer, you’re hit by the history and glamour of this landmark building, that’s frequently visited by Royalty and celebrities. I mean even if you weren’t heading there for a wedding, I’d still want to prop up the bar at The Fumoir, which has to be one of the coolest 1920s styled cocktail bars in London.
The first time I photographed a wedding at Claridges, it was New Years Eve 2012, when Nadia and Mark had their wedding reception in The Ballroom, and to this day the photo of them walking through those iconic Art Deco double doors remains one of my all-time favourites. It was also around Christmas time when Holly and Corey took over the French Salon and the Drawing Room for their wedding. I’ll never forget the emotion as Holly walked down the aisle and saw Corey for the first time. Another all-time favourite.
So 3 big reasons to have a Claridges wedding…
- Plenty of on-site accommodation! Sure you pay a premium for that, but a pretty good excuse as any to stay there.
- Stunning variety in the rooms from Art Deco Ballroom to French Salon, right through to the traditional Drawing Room.
- To join the exclusive list of Royalty, celebrities and dignitaries whom have had their own wedding there.
Have a look through the pictures below, and hopefully they’ll give you some inspiration for your own wedding at Claridges in London.
