There’s nowhere quite like Wilton’s Music Hall. Built in the 19th century to cater to vaudeville-loving audiences, it still produces an array of theatrical productions to this day and, in recent times, plays host to couples seeking a bit of glitz on their wedding day. Part of this glitz involves getting married on the big stage in front of your nearest and dearest, and considering Emmy is the TV and Film editor for Hello!, there couldn’t have been a more fitting dramatic setting!
I usually have a good antenna for sussing out how much of a party there’s gonna be on the wedding day, and, as regular readers of this blog (and those who know me best) will testify, I do like a good party :D This antenna has been sharpened from many years of shooting weddings, and as I delved into the intricacies of the day with Rory prior to the wedding, I got the impression that this was going to be one of those days.
And so it came to pass: the limoncello flowed, drinking games ensued, after-dinner cocktails began, and then the surprise hit of the night dropped, as Emmy produced her very own indelible rendition of Taylor Swift’s ‘Love Story,’ that brought the house down (and maybe herself as well…!).
A top-notch day, with a great atmosphere throughout, here’s a glimpse of Emmy + Rory’s Wilton’s Music Hall wedding day…
