What immediately hits you is the location - it’s simply stunning, and there are some amazing photo opportunities if you fancy wandering through the beautiful surrounding landscapes. The centrepiece of Sopley Mill is its converted 19th Century watermill, which has the Avon River running directly through it. I have to admit, it looks pretty impressive!
I think the great thing about Sopley Mill is the fact its a blank canvas - you get to choose everything! That’s exactly what Bronwyn and George did for their wedding, as they got all creative once their Rubber Duck Grand Prix down the Avon River was cancelled due to a strong current, and replacing it with the inspire Rubber Duck Face Off! (The Harry Potter Duck won. Obvs.)
