There’s no doubt about it - Hestercombe Gardens is one beautiful wedding venue. Something that makes it extra special is that you’ll have access to the entire estate for your wedding day - that includes 50 acres of manicured gardens, with some beautifully restored buildings in the mix. The show stopper is arguably The Orangery, which is an iconic hamstone building, designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, with floor to ceiling windows that not only let an awful lot of daylight in, but also provide stunning views out into the famous gardens.
There’s also the option to get married by the 18th Century Temple Arbour - The Temple - which is perched high above the Pear Pond in the Landscape Gardens, with great views to Taunton Vale. For the wedding breakfast, it’s off into Bampfylde Hall, which dates back to 1680! It has a barnyard vibe, with high celings, exposed brickwork, and seating for 112 diners.
