Sunbeam Studios Wedding

Crikey I knew it’s been a while since I last blogged a London wedding, but I didn’t realise it was almost a year and a half ago..! I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I’m shooting a lot more around the country now - when I started out I’d say the majority of my weddings were in my home city, but this year it’s down to a third. Not that I’m complaining at all!! I really do love the fact that this profession enables me to travel to areas I would never have normally headed to, and that there is life outside of London.

So with that I present Lizanne + Nicolas’ London wedding at Sunbeam Studios! A stunning Grade II-listed wedding venue, that doubles up as a photographic studio, and is rather impressive. It reminds me a lot of the Turner Contemporary in Margate, with it’s clean white walls, perfect for clean compositions. But not just content with having their guests enjoy the marvellous surroundings, the beautiful dream-team combo of Lizanne + Nicolas also managed to book in a pretty nifty balloon artist as well - and many a good photo was had as a result…

And if that all wasn’t enough, there was the added bonus of seeing Nadia + Andreas (he’s the one looking mega pleased with the Octopus ballon on his head) again - I spent a couple days with them in 2015 photographing both their wedding days, and couldn’t have been happier to have a good catch up.
