Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Lucia and Kilian’s wedding there, and one of the reasons they chose it was because they wanted a London wedding venue that was stylish and sophisticated, but not ‘overdone.’ My favourite room has to be the Art Deco Council Chamber, a dramatic and unusual space that makes for a breathtaking ceremony room. After the “I dos,” we moved to the De Montfort Suite for the reception, before the final leg of the wedding ‘journey’ took everyone to the Bethnal Hall—a 1930s wood-paneled room with moving doors, perfect for a surprise entrance!
