A micro wedding at L’oscar London for you today, mainly because it’s been ages since I last shared one, and I’m starting to get get asked by couples whether I even do them! So to put that right, here’s a micro wedding from earlier in the year that I’ve got a lot of love for.
Dom (the groom) is an old friend who somehow managed to punch way above his weight and marry Central American beauty Maureen, in a small, intimate ceremony at Camden Town Hall, followed by a reception at luxury boutique hotel, L’oscar. There were only around 20 guests in total, a combination of family and close friends, all enjoying the opulent and intimate surroundings. It was a civilised affair, just as you’d expect from such a sophisticated setting - until Dom decided to crank things up by introducing a family tradition: The Hat Game.
Best way to describe it is that it’s the adult version of musical chairs, but instead of stealing someone’s chair, you’re attempting to steal their hat, by ripping it off their heads at any opportunity! Those without a hat when the music stops, are eliminated. Cue utter carnage..!
