There are several ceremony rooms depending on the size of your wedding. The smaller rooms are perfect for intimate ceremonies, while the Brydon Room allows space for up to 38 guests. For larger celebrations, the Small Hall and Main Hall offer much bigger capacities, with the Main Hall able to host ceremonies of up to 338 guests. That flexibility is one of the reasons Chelsea has remained such a popular choice over the years.
The location is also a huge part of its appeal. Once the ceremony is over, you’re straight out onto one of London’s most iconic streets, with guests gathering outside for confetti, hugs and congratulations. My approach to wedding photography is all about documenting the day as it actually happens. I don’t stage things unnecessarily or interrupt the flow of the day - I focus on the real moments, the atmosphere, and the connections between people.
Chelsea Old Town Hall is perfect for that kind of photography. The weddings here often have a lovely rhythm: guests arriving on the King’s Road, the anticipation before the ceremony, the emotion in the room itself, and then that burst of energy afterwards as everyone spills outside.
I’ll be there to quietly capture all of it - the nerves, the glances, the laughter, the confetti, the family moments and all the little interactions in between. The aim is always to create a set of photographs that feels honest, natural and true to the day.
