In news that quite frankly shocked me to my core, last month I found out that I’m the current world #1 in the latest Fearless Photographers ranking, having having won six awards in the first collection of 2023.
For those that don’t know, Fearless awards are the wedding photographers Holy Grail - if you manage to get one or two a year that’s pretty good going (for perspective I’d won six in total in the previous seven years). So to see myself at the very top of the pile is hugely surreal! There are three more collections to go for the year, and the competition is fierce (there are tens of thousands of worldwide entries for every collection) so I hope I’m still up there by the years end, but even if I’m not, I’ll always remember and greatly appreciate this moment.
