Natural + Relaxed

A different kind of family shoot

London Family Photographer

Documentary Family Photography

Documentary family photography for couples who want honest, relaxed photographs of family life as it really feels.

If you’d like your family photographed in a way that feels natural, relaxed and true to you, you’re in the right place.

I’m Kristian, and my approach to family photography is rooted in observation rather than orchestration. I’m drawn to the real moments - the in-between expressions, familiar gestures, small mannerisms, and the relationships that quietly say the most.

The aim is to create photographs that feel honest and full of life - images that reflect your family as you are now, and that will only become more meaningful with time.

I’m based in London, and photograph families throughout the UK and internationally as well. If you’d like to find out more, just scroll down. And if you’d like one of my online brochures, simply fill in the enquiry form and I’ll send it over within 48 hours.

How it works

Whether we begin at home or somewhere that already means something to you, all sessions include:

  • 1–2 hours of photography
  • Up to 6 people
  • Your choice of location
  • Travel within 20 miles of NW London
  • High-resolution, watermark-free images
  • Fine art prints

Additional hours and extra family members can be added if needed.

Areas covered

I always enjoy the chance to venture beyond London, so whether your family is by the coast, up in the hills, or in the middle of a city, I’d love to document this chapter for you.

‘‘Kristian these brought tears to my eyes!  Such WONDERFUL photos!  You have absolutely captured the essence of our family, and all the love, noise and laughter!!  Thanks so much we are utterly thrilled with them.’’

My approach is simply to notice what’s already there - the small interactions, familiar routines, and the way you all are with each other.
